Activities

Visitors of all ages will enjoy the many games around the garden, from Solitaire to chess, or the equally competitive stone stacking game, where the current record is 34 stones stacked on top of each other. Some of the games are invented here and unique to The Ewe. They are very simple and grip both the imagination and physical skills of kids that have mainly know computers or tablets, and they forget all about their mobile phones for a while.

The Ewe Create Areas are ever popular for visitors to create their own natural sculptures out of sticks and stones. Some amazing creations have seen the light, and the best are recorded in a photograph. Visitors have been known to spend hours assembling pieces of wood into sculpture. Adults become creative kids for a day at The Ewe.

The brain is the main muscle exercised in the garden, as a very large number of information boards challenge you think outside the box, regarding the environment,  natural history or the fallacies of human nature in general.
