The 150 year old house is newly renovated, full of character, with all modern conveniences.
The house sleeps eight comfortably in four bedrooms upstairs, two of them with a double bed and two with bunk beds. It has a large sitting room with an open fire, a sunny dining room with great views and a separate TV room. The kitchen is fully equipped and has a breakfast area for four. Upstairs a large bathroom with bathtub, downstairs a second toilet. The house is heated by oil fired central heating. A large, secluded garden provides a private oasis.
The tourist Mecca of Killarney and the lakes of Killarney is an hours' drive.
Glengarriff itself is one of the most famous tourist destinations. Surrounded by ancient oak forests, a picturesque harbour with seals and boat rides to the tropical garden on Garnish Island.
The village has a wide range of shops, pubs, hotels and restaurants.
It is the ideal base for both Cork and Kerry for an active holiday with walking, fishing, sailing, golfing or swimming. |
